After completing the "searching and fearless moral inventory" for my family members in CoDependents Anonymous, I needed to balance the lists of things I had done wrong by recognizing my worthy qualities. The first part applies to situations in general while the last relates to my teaching although not exclusively:

General Situations

  • Caring, sensitive, compassionate and intelligent.

  • Possess richness and fullness in my interests.

  • A good role model for my children.

  • Positive attitude toward life and experience.

  • Express enthusiasm for my work and career.

  • Very energetic about and interested in new ideas.

  • Effective and personable in my relations with others.

  • Make a group feel comfortable and unified.

  • Show care and dedication in what I am doing.

  • Always find time to be with and talk with others.

  • Work hard to be an example of what I profess.

  • Help people feel at ease in uncomfortable situations.

  • Friendly and pleasant in my contacts with people.

  • Share with others to help them get involved.

  • Willing to help when others express a need.

  • Well prepared for personal and work responsibilities.

  • View concrete situations from many perspectives.

  • Find new ways of doing things in problem solving.

  • Recognize and consider other's feelings.

  • Keep the commitments that I make to others.


As a Teacher

  • An excellent classroom facilitator.
